Patient 1

Problem: This 20-year-old female patient presented with an anterior open bite from a tongue thrust. She was told that she needed surgery. We decided to try and get the best result before sending her for surgery (she was scared of surgery, and who can blame her?)

Solution: orthodontic treatment using the Speed System (Cambridge, Canada) for 1 year resulted in the closure of her bite and no need for surgery!
