Composite is a wonderful material, allowing for non or minimally invasive resin augmentation of teeth to proper form, reversing areas of wear whilst restoring function. The advantage of its use in the cervical third is the extreme thinness of enamel in this region, which makes it the perfect dentin substitute as they have matching elastic moduli.
