Marginal failure plagued this lower first bicuspid with the added complication of a lingualized second premolar which complicated the placement of the matrix assembly. Nonetheless, the Garrison Quad system shone here with the bifid wedge able to wrap and adapt the metal band intimately against the cavosurface margin with virtually zero finishing in the cervical region.
A combination of Simplishade Bulk Fill flow (132MPa flexural strength) and XL2 Herculite Ultra flow were required in order to neutralize the dark base and lift the value of the restoration, which was then predictably capped in a lobe-by-lobe fashion using Simplishade Medium for a seamless finish.
