(Afternoon tea pics 2280.1: Voco Amaris Freehand Stratified Composite Veneer in a 14 year old male)
Status post blunt dental trauma in this 14 year old male resulting in a complex enamel-dentin fracture and reduced palatal luxation of this UL1 with subluxation of UR1 and enamel fracture.
After rigid splinting by the pediatric practice for 14 days, a freehand stratified composite restorative solution was crafted for the 8 and 9 using the addition/correctable value-based shade system from Voco Amaris.
Shades employed: TN, O2, HT (high translucency), white tint.
White tint simply replaces the need to mix custom incisal halo colors and can be also used for maverick effects. Simply, this is effective, efficient layering with an invisible result. This patient has impacted upper canines and a host of other issues that are being addressed by his orthodontist.
The post-operative result is natural and the injury is now esthetically-invisible.
