Near-unrestorable tooth #2 (1.7). The least we can do is build a bonded core with slight overlap to better support and seal the tooth structure. It is well known that the coefficient of thermal expansion of amalgam is not a tooth’s friend, and especially in a thin residual wall case like this. Fortunately tooth #31 (4.7) is the only tooth that gently touches and it is mesially impacted.
