Digital Smile Design was completed twice for this case: once to determine the degree of crown lengthening, and once post-crown lengthening to modify the proportions of the teeth.
Crown lengthening needed to be an open flap approach due to significant buccal exostoses. 3 months’ healing was allotted prior to the placement of stratified composite restorations after recontouring of the butterflied central incisors to allow for improved visual alignment with the anterior sextant. Minor tweaks in canine zenith position were completed today along with the composite veneers.
Shades used: White Dentin, White Enamel, Clear, white tint.
