Tetrafluoroethane testing reveals a vital, normally-responsive pulp, and so the decision was made to try to maintain vitality by developing a well defined peripheral seal zone (PSZ) and an ultraconservative microlayered bonding protocol. The restoration was layered using a single shade of the chameleon effect Simplishade.
The matrix-in-matrix technique was utilized here to ensure an excellent proximocervical seal.
