This tooth featured an old restoration with marginal leakage. After excavation, caries was noted tracking apicoproximally on the mesial aspect cervical to the level of the old restoration. The Garrison extended molar Firm Band allowed simultaneous contour re-establishment and deep margin elevation with great efficiency.
A single shade of Kerr Simplishade Medium was utilized here with some XL2 flowable (Herculite Ultra) as the microlayered base.
