This interesting case featured a second bicuspid with distal-facing caries due to the imbrication in the region and overeruption. Restoring it was challenging requiring initial cervical band placement, then coronal displacement of the band to restore the marginal ridge up to the target height. The occlusal embrasure is an area that is often overlooked, but this case reminds us that this area is just in need of love as the occlusal surface.
