*When closing diastemas, a prep through technique to the lingual is necessary – drop the margin subgingivally 0.5mm to 1mm to allow for a smooth emergence profile in order to close any black triangles.
*Your provisionals are the key to predictability. In this case we were able to determine a slight midline cant to the patient’s L side cervicoincisally which changes the width making 8 wider and 9 narrower slightly.
*Provisional reassessments should not only be for form, speech, but also for shade selection confirmation. The provisional material, GC TempSmart, was characterized using grey and white using Optiglaze Color (GC).
